Google Nexus One Update ROM official dari Google

Google baru saja merilis update firmware untuk Nexus One, dikatakan di versi update terbaru ini (Build Number: ERE27) sudah support untuk multitouch di web browser, maps dan 3D gallery. Sekarang anda juga bisa menggunakan pinch to zoom gesture seperti yang bisa dilakukan di iPhone. Update ini juga memperbaiki sambungan 3G yang sudah sangat mengganggu pengguna t-mobile.

OTA update ini juga sudah bisa didownload, tapi bila anda menggunakan Nexus One Rooted dengan Custom Rom terinstall maka tidak akan di ingatkan mengenai official update ini. Biasanya Nexus One yang sudah di Root dengan Stock ROM akan ditawarkan OTA update dengan built in update utility dari devicenya sendiri. Apabila anda sudah menggunakan custom ROM, dan ingin segera mengupdate Nexus One Anda, ikuti instruksi yang di lansir dari Android Central yang akan membantu anda mengupdate Nexus One anda. Caranya:

1. Download the update from https://android.clients.google.com/updates/passion/signed-passion-ERE27-from-ERD79.a487b405.zip (Google official)
2. Rename the file to update.zip. Note that if you’re using Windows, just rename it to "update" (no quotes, of course) because it’s already a zipped file.
3. Copy the update.zip file onto your microSD card.
4. With your Nexus One off, hold down the trackball and press the power button.
5. You’ll be booted into a white screen with three Android robots on skateboards. Select "Bootloader."
6. On the next screen, select "Recovery."
7. Your phone will reboot, giving you a picture of the Android robot and an exclamation point inside a triangle.
8. Now press the power button and volume up button at the same time. It could take a couple of tries.
9. Now choose "Apply sdcard:update.zip" and let things run their course.
